Teetotaler?

I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, we’re talking 2-3 years. Honestly, drinking can be a lot of fun but the consequences and risks from it aren’t worth it. Especially if you’re into fitness and want your muscles to grow. I know it’s different from person to person how you’re affected by the liquor and feel when you wake up after a night out. For me personally, it’s overall not worth it. The hangovers are so bad and I need to know that I have control over myself, if not I’ll get bad anxiety.

In 2015 I almost didn’t drink at all, safe to say it was a good year for both my physical and mental health. I want to go back to that state of being.

How do you guys feel and think about this topic? I’m genuinely curious about your personal experiences and thoughts on it.

Have a great night!

  1. I think you have to do what’s best for you, personally I have never gone wild with the liquor.. and I’m happy with that, if I drink I do it for the taste 🙂 personal favorite coca cola and rom 🙂 but I don’t drink to get wasted 🙂 Hope you do what’s make you happy! Miss you girl❣️❤️

  2. Hello Maren,
You are wise to be questioning this so young. I drank too much until I reached my 40s and then I decided I was better off without liquor, mentally, physically, and romantically (was attracted the wrong type of men). It’s a personal decision and only you know if you need to stop. It sounds to be as if you take good care of yourself.

I admire your courage, studying in another country. The best of luck to you!

    1. Thank you so much for your input and kind words! I like that you put “romantically” in there, because in my experience you’ll only attract the wrong men while partying and being drunk. I appreciate you for following my journey and giving me feedback! Hope you’re doing great in life, you sound like a woman that deserves it.
